Discovering How Paper Changes Into A Brand New Product

Recycling is highly encouraged these days. However, a lot of people do not have the slightest clue about what happens to paper after they have initiated the recycling process. After you drop this material off into the recycling bin, there are additional tasks that have to be completed by outside entities in order to accomplish the recycling process.

The first thing that must happen is all of these materials have to be put together into a relatively large pile. Individuals, after gathering all of these materials together will then need to place everything that they have that is made from this specific material to their curb.

Once the materials are placed on the curb, your local recycling plant will then receive all of the paper that it needs to conduct the entire recycling process. The individuals that are employed by the plant will be mandated to sort through all of the materials that they have in their possession. They will place these materials into separate piles and place them into different categories. Magazines make up one category, cards make up another and office supplies are later placed into an additional pile.

After all of these materials have been assigned to their specific categories then the entire process can commence. The materials are chopped into small pieces and carefully blended together with a water mixture. The process of mixing these materials together with water is known as pulping.

During the pulping treatment, all of the previously full materials will turn into a mush substance. This substance will then be bleached and dyed so the colors can be changed later on if the manufacturer who receives the products deems it fit.

The mush mixture is drained and screened, the pulp will then be poured directly onto a flat screen where it will take its shape and allow any excess water to drain off of it. After the paper has gone through this draining process, it is finally ready to be made into a brand new product.
