Finding The Best Photo Frames

If you need to find a frame for your photos or a painting then you need to answer a few questions first. You need to be very clear about what you want because there are a lot to choose from. Is it something small you are after or do you want something larger like size A2 or A3 frames?

Before you decide think about what the photo means for you. How important is it? Do you want everybody to see it? If you have an important picture from a wedding then you should think about using a larger frame. That is not to say that smaller frames aren’t important.

After you have given it a level of importance you should decide where you are going to put it. If I want something to be in the front room of my house then I want it very visible. If you want it next to your bed then go for a smaller frame. You won’t get many A3 frames next to your bed!

You can use one of those digital frames if you are getting a photo framed. I like to use a mixture of the ‘old fashioned’ frames and the new digital ones. You will learn to use them very quickly because all you need to do is transfer the memory card of your digital camera.

The bit that I love about these digital frames is that you can present a slide show of you pictures. Sometimes I get distracted from the television and just watch my photos going around!

One of the negatives about these frames is that you need to plug them in. This uses electricity so the costs can add up. You also can’t get really large ones so if you if you did want to get a large photo in your front room then you will need to look at A3 frames.

Whatever you choose with regards to your frames make sure that you do display them. There are too many photos these days stuck on people’s memory cards and computers. You should let this happen to yours. Display them with pride!
