These are all files you need to keep straight and not produce multiple versions of these. Doing so can be criminal. Failure to keep files in order seems trivial but in the face of a major business change or internal revenue service audit, it isn’t trivial. It could be the difference between losing your home and lifestyle, and retaining those things. Tools that rename files are essential to maintaining order. Make sure you have one on your machine.
