Matte Watch – Weekly Digital Photo Contest

Mark your calendar for July 2009. That is the month when we will launch a new series of photo contests that give you chances to win prizes on weekly, monthly, and even yearly levels. Monthly and yearly winners will be chosen from our weekly contest winners, as participation increases. Our kick off theme will be scenery photos. Enter by submitting your favorite photo of local vistas in our weekly contests. Your picture must be in .JPG format, under 4mb each in file size, and given a unique name to avoid being overwritten by other participants. Use the following URL to enter your photo of the week:

When you see the confirmation that your photo has been uploaded, send us an email at the email address on the Matte Watch photo matting site to provide details on the file name of your photo, where you took the picture, and your interest in entering our weekly photo contest. We ask you not to attach photos to your emails, as we cannot guarantee they will be entered into the contest. On Saturdays, winners will be chosen for a first, second, and third place weekly award. Participants will be notified by email when the winners are chosen. Awards will be posted for download from the site. If you have any objection to having your prize(s) remain among site postings, you may request that we remove your posted prize from our site. We reserve the right to refuse inappropriate material or other content for any reason.

Weekly contest prizes include digital awards for the 3 chosen winners, and we will also automatically enter them into our monthly competition. Our monthly contest posting provides more information about monthly prizes. On Saturdays, awards for the week will be posted, and we may announce different themes for the next weekly contest.

Although a lack of participation at each contest level may result in prizes not being awarded, fewer participants allows you greater chances to win at all levels, so jump in and join the fun. Just submit your favorite scenic photo, and be in line for a chance to get recognition, prizes, and more.
