The Kodak Pulse is premiering at CES 2010. You can now look new pictures on your frame more often by creating your own e-mail address for the frame to easily accept new pictures. You can send pictures via computer or even e-mail pictures from mobile phones as soon as they are taken.

The Kodak Pulse is a unique digital frame that uses advanced technology to incorporate more features. The touch-screen digital frame has a 7-inch high quality digital photo display and has 512 MB of internal memory. The Wi-Fi capability and personal email address permits owners to receive pictures wirelessly from the computer, Facebook and Kodak Gallery sites. Such connectivity makes picture storage easier and faster and the USB port and 2 extra card slots allow for more memory and pictures. Unlike other image frames, the Kodak Pulse also automatically refreshes its display new pictures are added to its albums.

“Kodak believes sharing pictures should be simple, not a chore,” said John Blake , General Manager, Digital Capture and Devices and Vice President, Kodak. “Picture this: you live on the east coast. Your parents survive the west coast. You just had a baby, so you give your parents a PULSE Frame to ensure that they can share in every moment of your child’s life. You can send pictures by email from your smartphone or even through Facebook or KODAK Gallery. With the PULSE Frame, you always have something to look forward to as the frame refreshes with new pictures.”

It’s hard to get excited about digital photo frames, but Kodak has actually done an excellent job of it with the Kodak Pulse Digital Frame. Yes, it’s a frame like all others – 512MB storage for 4000 odd pics at the 800 x 600 resolution the 7-inch LED screen can display – but this one’s all internet connected too.

It works over Wi-Fi and automatically updates its photos according to what’s put in your Facebook gallery or your Kodak Gallery space. You can also e-mail images direct to the frame itself or update over your home network.

All in all, a pretty excellent idea for giving to parents who live a long way a way so they can receive regular updates on how their grand children are getting on. It’s also apparently perfect for those moments when you want to relive you and your girlfriends enjoying cake.

The Kodak Pulse 7-inch digital frame has hassle-free pictures with no software to install taking setup easier than ever. The Pulse automatically alerts you as soon as you get new pictures from friends and family. You can add or replace pictures wirelessly with built-in Wi-Fi. You can also use a memory card or USB drive to start viewing your pictures right away.

Pictures look awesome on the kodak pulse digital photo frame with 7 inch high-quality digital photo display (800 x 600 pixels) featuring Kodak Color Science and LED backlighting. It has easy to use controls with full touch screen which makes your full photo-viewing experience simple and fun.
