Three Brides in the South That Planned Weddings That Were Personalized To Them
Nobody seems to like planning elaborate weddings more than the Southerners . A lot of little southern belles grow up thinking about their big day and how it will be . This article will discuss 3 separate southern weddings and some of their details including Lexington wedding photographer taking photos on a horse farm as only a southern wedding photographer Lexington KY may do and the extravagant decorations that were done at a wedding in Texas .
The first wedding is one that took place at a gorgeous setting on a big horse farm in Kentucky. The blugrass state is full of beautiful rolling horse farms with white fences and the home of the Kentucky Derby. Horsesseem to be in the blood of many of the people who live there. This bride grew up on such a farm and wanted her wedding to be held there with a big white tent overlooking the green pastures of the farm . For a southern girl , she was much more cowgirl than pageant queen so the theme of the wedding was more country than formal with hay bales and wood fencing as part of the decor . She wore a simple white sundress with white cowgirl boots and came down the aisle on her longtime horse. It was was just the way she had always dreamed it to be and it was captured beautifully by a wonderful photographer from Lexington.
The next wedding was a huge formal affair in a Texas mansion . This was for a true southern girl who believed that more sparkle and embellishment on everything , the better. She truly lived her life by the motto that everything in Texas is bigger and had a formal five course sit down reception for 700 of her closest family and friends . Her parents spared no expenses when it came to the decorations for the party with just the flowers costing over ,000 flown in from all different parts of the world. The bride had not just 1 designer wedding gown but two . The first Vera Wang gown was for the ceremony and the other for the reception. Her wedding was such an extravaganza that a cable television network filmed it for a show about high priced weddings.
The final wedding is a more intimate but unique occasion that took place on an old classic Riverboat that cruised down the Mississippi River during the ceremony and the reception . The bride had a big affinity to these old riverboats as her family had owned a company of them for many generations and therefore felt that the only place to be married was on her favorite river in one of the classic old steam boats.
Weddings are now as different and personalized as brides are now. They no longer need to be in a church and the reception hall next to it but usually they take place at a location that has special meaning to the groom or the bride . These personalized weddings are a great way for the bride and groom to express themselves and to completely relish in their special day.
